Final Thoughts
The Nexus XiR-2300 is a well built quality cooler which comes supplied with a generous bundle of accessories and mounting compatibilities. It’s also easy to install provided you have adequate space to be able to screw it into your case. Please keep in mind that depending on your motherboard layout and if your memory has tall heatspreaders like the Corsair DHX series, then this might not be suitable for you.

Unfortunately the results of cooling performance of the Nexus XiR-2300 are disappointing, this is therefore not a cooler that we would recommend for a high end overclocking gaming PC as there are far more suitable coolers with greater cooling performance available. However the cooler is fairly low profile and is quiet running, and would therefore be ideal for a HTPC build.

If you’re a UK resident then unfortunately you might be out of luck as I’ve been unable to find it available for purchase within the UK which is a shame, but for other countries (mainly in the EU) you should be able to find this at your local shop or etailer.
