Ni no Kuni 2 DLC “The Lair Of The Lost Lord” Set To Release

Ni no Kuni 2 The Lair Of The Lost Lord

If there is going to be one gaming regret I have this year, it’s that despite absolutely loving the game I have not given Ni No Kuni II nearly as much attention as I should have. I have, incidentally been at least catching up on other games in my Steam library. For example, I finally completed Metal Gear Solid 5 earlier this year! Oh, and Wolfenstein II. So maybe I’m currently on a 2 year delay.

If you have, however, managed to spend enough time on this game to have actually completed it, there is good news for you. Bandai Namco has announced that the first paid DLC, “The Lair Of The Lost Lord”, is set to release on December 13th.

What Will It Include?

The DLC is set to include the following new content;

  • A new zone
  • New quests
  • Over 80 new weapons and armour pieces
  • A “returning enemy”
  • Expanded battle system.
  • Level cap increased to 120

All in all, it sounds like rather a lot of content and for those of you looking to squeeze everything you can from this game, this is surely going to be great news!

When Is It Out And How Much Will It Cost?

We do know that the DLC will be released on December 13th for the PS4 and PC. In terms of how much it will cost, that is a little less clear. Given that the season pass costs £16.99 though, I’d imagine that as a stand-alone, this will probably be £9.99. For the amount of content it seems to be adding, that sounds like some good value DLC to me.
