When I first played Ni no Kuni I didn’t know what to expect, but with the team having a fist full of inspiration from the animation team at Studio Ghibli, I knew it was going to be pretty unique, and that turned out to be quite the understatement. While not being as successful as say, Final Fantasy, Ni no Kuni is one of the finest and most heart warming RPGs to have hit the market in the last decade.
At the PlayStation Experience, Lever-5 and Bandai Namco took to the stage to showcase a first look at their greatly anticipated Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, which was a pleasant surprise given that the last time we heard so much as a whisper of the game was a whole year ago at the last PlayStation Experience event!
The game is looking jaw-droppingly good, although that should come as no surprise to anyone who played the last game.
Check out the trailer below, and then sit tight, as the game only has the loose release date of “2017” at this time, but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
“Watch the 2nd trailer for Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM that debuted at PlayStation Experience 2016 from LEVEL-5 and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment.
