Nightingale Devs Remove FSR 3 From Launch Due To Stability Problems

Nightingale is an upcoming game which launches into early access tomorrow, February 20th, it’s a survival crafting game which is set in a Victorian world and launches into early access, where have we heard this many times before? Well unfortunately for AMD, and AMD fans, the FSR 3 integration into the game will be removed for the game’s launch due to issues leading to game crashes.
FSR 3 Removed From Nightingale
Within a pre-launch update posted several days ago, the team behind Nightingale mentioned that FSR 3 has been removed temporarily. The reasoning for this involves a review of the crash data from the server stress test which exposed that FSR 3 was the culprit behind many game crashes, even if it wasn’t turned on. The developers will be working on implementing FSR again in the future be it the new FSR 3 or even just the older FSR 2.
It’s a shame to see AMD software causing issues again, looking at you Anti-Lag+. But then again you can’t really blame AMD for this, as it’s the only time it has happened as far as I am aware, and since Nightingale is an early access title, this kind of thing can be expected.
I’m not a massive fan of the survival crafting genre with the exception of Minecraft and most recently Palworld, but Nightingale does look reasonably solid and I do like the Victorian/Steampunk aesthetic.
The game will be available from tomorrow (Feb 20th) on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
