Nintendo Launches Trailer for Retrotastic Nes Mini
Peter Donnell / 8 years ago
While many are looking forward to the release of the Nintendo NX, there’s just as many people that love Nintendo classics even more. Nintendo aren’t stupid (honestly), and this Christmas they’ve going to take full advantage of that classic library with the release of their new Nes Mini.
The Nes Classic Mini will be launching on November 11th, and comes packed with games, it also allows you to toggle to an old school CRT display mode for that authentic vibe. You’ll also be able to switch between 60Hz and 50Hz, unlike the original which was locked at 50Hz, a big pain in the backside for those in PAL regions.
In addition to the games listed below, you’ll also have save slots built-in to the console, allowing you to save any game at any time, making it pick up and play friendly.
- Balloon Fight™
- BUBBLE BOBBLE
- Castlevania™
- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest™
- Donkey Kong™
- Donkey Kong Jr. ™
- DOUBLE DRAGON II: THE REVENGE
- Dr. Mario™
- Excitebike™
- FINAL FANTASY®
- Galaga™
- GHOSTS’N GOBLINS®
- GRADIUS™
- Ice Climber™
- Kid Icarus™
- Kirby’s Adventure™
- Mario Bros. ™
- MEGA MAN® 2
- Metroid™
- NINJA GAIDEN
- PAC-MAN™
- Punch-Out!! ™ Featuring Mr. Dream
- StarTropics™
- SUPER C™
- Super Mario Bros.™
- Super Mario Bros. ™ 2
- Super Mario Bros. ™ 3
- TECMO BOWL
- The Legend of Zelda™
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link™
Who knows, if this does well, we could see SNES, N64, maybe even Gamecube Mini hitting the market next year.
