Nintendo made a fairly big splash last night, as they’ve announced The Legend of Zelda: Kamigami no Triforce 2. The game has still yet to be given an English name, but the first Kamigami was A Link to the Past.
The game will feature a new storyline, new puzzles and new dungeons. Link will have the ability to become a painting on the walls to make his way around corners.
Right now the game is scheduled for release on 3DS in 2014 for Japan and late 2013 for North America.
NeoGAF has already uncovered that some of the overworld map is almost a 100% copy of it’s SNES counter-part.
It’ll be very interesting to see how this game turns out. If I’d have to describe the visuals, it sort of looks like a cross of the DS Zelda games and Link to the Past. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more info if you’re a fan of the series.
