CAPCOM has some good news for Mega Man fans with a Nintendo Switch. The Mega Man Legacy Collection is going to be available soon on the portable console. This includes both the first and second collection at the same time. The second Legacy Collection came out a few months ago, combining 7 through 10 in one package. The first Legacy Collection of course, collects all titles before that.
The games will be available on the Nintendo Switch come May 22. That is still over three months away.
However, the collection is more than just a port of the classic NES games. It will also feature challenge modes with remixed stages, plus a leaderboard. There is also a museum mode containing the game’s development archives.
Fans of the title’s music will also be able to listen to the collection under ‘sound mode’. Enjoy classics such as Dr. Wily’s stage on Mega Man 2 or Elec Man’s stage from Mega Man 1.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection costs $14.99, while Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 costs $19.99 via the eShop. The physical copy costs for a bit more at $39.99 USD for 1+2. This includes the first collection on a game card with a download code for the second collection.
