Noctua is well known for parading the ol’ brown motif since time began. I for one love the colour scheme, but I can understand that it’s not for everyone. However, for me, performance trumps looks anyway. Those who want to add something a little different to their Noctua setup, however, can now enjoy their Chromax mod kits.
The Chromax heatsink covers are designed to fit over a range of Noctua coolers. As you can see below, they fit on the single and dual tower coolers that they produce. They’ll be released in both black and white variants too, so you can easily get a look that suits your taste.
What’s really cool is that each kit comes with six different colour inserts, allowing you to change the highlight colour. Of course, you could easily make your own too, so lot’s of fun to be had there.
Noctua suggests using their Industrial black fans. Some of you may know that the corner mounts for those fans can be swapped for colourful ones too, which is sure to look awesome paired with Chromax.
What do you think of these new additions to the range? Would you be more willing to invest in Noctua with more colour on offer, or even upgrade your existing Noctua products with them? Let us know in the comments section below, as we would love to hear your thoughts on these.
