Noctua NH-C14S C-Type Premium Cooler Review

Installation

The backplate is self-explanatory, just pop it right on the back of your motherboard and you’re good to go.

Add the four plastic spacers on the other side.

Apply the appropriate brackets for the cooler.

Use the four thumb screws to hold everything in place.

Then it’s simply a case of applying thermal paste, using the included screwdriver to tighten it down.

Finally, clip the fan back onto the cooler. The whole process takes no more than a few minutes and it is very easy overall. The orientation of the cooler is up to you, but as you can see, it’s causing zero conflicts to our memory and other motherboard components.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
