Temperatures – Single CPU

Noctua’s NH-U12S DX-3647 performs very well with only one better that’s better – and that one utilises 140mm fans.

Temperatures – Dual CPU

In a dual socket setup, we see the NH-U12S DX-3647 perform just as well as in a single chip setup. The temperatures here are the average of both chips.

Acoustics – Single CPU

A good cooling doesn’t mean that it has to get loud, not even for a server. The NH-U12S DX-3647 comes in with top scores in this test. I can add that the room with nothing running ticks in at 38.2 dBA.

Acoustics – Dual CPU

Moving up to the dual socket setup again and it is no different. The NH-U12S DX-3647 performs without making too much noise.
