Noctua has announced three new 92mm premium class CPU coolers. The new NH-U9S and NH-D9L are retail models while the NH-D9DX i4 3U targets Intel Xeon LGA2011 based workstations and servers. All three new models use the recently announced NF-A9 PWM 92mm premium fan to achieve the best and most quiet cooling performance.
The NH-U9S is a premium quality quiet CPU cooler in classic 9cm size. Its asymmetrical design with 5 heat pipes provides an even better cooling performance than the previous generation and at the same time improves compatibility. The NH-U9S clears the RAM and PCIe slots on all Intel and most AMD based mainboards, including µATX and ITX variants.
The NH-D9L and NH-D9DX i4 3U are basically the same cooler and only variate in the supplied mounting system. They feature 4 heat pipes but have the same footprint as the NH-U9S. with a height of just 100mm thanks to the integrated fan mount, these new coolers are fully 3U compliant as well as ideal for compact HTPC and Small Form Factor (SFF) cases that have an airflow path parallel to the motherboard.
All three new CPU coolers are backed by a 6-year warranty and come with Noctua’s NT-H1 thermal compound included. The shipping to retailers and shops has started, so availability should be now or very soon. The MSRP is set to €54.90/$59.90 for the NH-U9S, €49.90/$56.90 for the NH-D9L while the NH-D9DX i4 3U will set you back €56.90/$59.90
