Noctua Reveal AM4 Cooler and More at Computex 2016

Never short of things to tweak and improve, Noctua is back again this year with a great new range of products, upcoming hardware, prototypes and more at Computex 2016. First up, their new L-type 120mm, featuring their latest slim design fans and perfect for those with 70mm clearance in their build.
Their mighty NH-U12DX i4 is now available in a 4U version, it’s a bit of a beast, but the high-end performance should be pretty special and we can’t wait till it’s out of prototype phase and on the market.
Their first cooler for the AMD AM4 socket, and while that in its self is pretty special, Noctua are keeping up their rep by offering a free bracket upgrade to any Noctua customer to ensure their current cooler is also compatible with the newly designed AMD cooler mounts.
Another prototype, this time for their next-gen Xeon and Opteron cooler. It’s another beast and while the cooler is pretty hefty, it’s the contact plate that really impresses, as the new CPUs are pretty much giant rectangles, so require a much bigger surface for the cooler to be able to do its job.
Noctua is still working on their larger fan solutions, having spent a lot of time finding stronger and lighter materials to ensure they can keep up with the rigorous demands of the award-winning Noctua warranty. Progress is going well, but we’ll find out later in the year how it all pans out.
Even more prototypes, at their first testing phase before going on to more familiar colours and consumer testing.
