Noctua Reveals Chromax.Black Variants Of NH-D9L and NH-L9x65 Coolers

Today Noctua has expanded its product range and more specifically its Chromax.Black product range with new variants of its NH-D9L and NH-L9x65 CPU coolers. These existing coolers have been coated with a sleek black coating on both the heatsinks and fans to provide a stealthy look that fit well in a quiet and RGB-less system.

Noctua Chromax.Black NH-D9L

The NH-D9L is a compact dual-tower CPU cooler designed to offer strong cooling performance at just 110mm in height. Its more compact design allows it to wiggle its way into some small form factor systems giving users more cooling potential for a more powerful CPU. Its 95x95mm footprint also leaves plenty of room for taller RAM and the PCIe slot for maximum compatibility even on ITX motherboards. It uses a single NF-A9 92mm fan placed within the centre of the two towers that utilises a premium SSO2 bearing to ensure more than 150,000 hours of Mean Time To Failure.

The NH-L9x65 is a low-profile cooler that offers a middle ground between the NH-L 12 series and the ultra-compact NH-L9i and L9a series. It features a height of 65mm and a 95x95mm footprint which like the NH-D9L, ensures excellent RAM and PCIe compatibility. It uses an A9x14 premium fan which runs quietly with PWM and is built to last with the same SSO2 bearing as the NF-A9.

What Noctua Had To Say

“Many users who build Small Form Factor systems value build-aesthetics just as much as performance and quietness of operation”, says Roland Mossig (Noctua CEO). “Our NH-D9L and NH-L9x65 are highly popular among Small Form Factor builders, so we’re excited to introduce them in all-black chromax versions!”
