NoFan CR-80EH Fanless Copper CPU Cooler Review

Performance
Performance was never really going to be the strong point for the CR-80EH. It’s a budget friendly cooler and doesn’t even have a fan, so as expected it’s running a little warmer than most, just near the bottom of our chart. This may not look great, but keep in mind that this CPU cooler is making zero noise! We’re running an Intel i5 3570K under heavy load for long periods of time over and over and it’s peaking at 33c above ambient, that’s really not bad at all when you think about it and more than enough to run our computer like this all day long.
Overclocking isn’t suggested on the CR-80EH, at least not on an i5 CPU, you can possibly get away with a lower power chip being pushed a little, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I was actually going to post my first ever DNF on the chart, as I actually pulled this test early when the chip reached 98c and what you see on this chart is the delta temperature recorded at that point… it may have gone higher, but I was not going to let that happen.
