Internally the Lumia 525 has 1GB of RAM, double that of the Lumia 520, and it is said to have a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. There is 8GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for up to a further 64GB. SkyDrive users will also get 7GB of free cloud storage. The battery is a 1430mAh Li-Ion design and the operating system will be the latest version of Windows Phone 8, GD3.
The Nokia Lumia 525 measures in at 119.9 x 64 x 9.9mm and weighs 124g (battery included). In terms of networks it is compatible with WCDMA 900/2100, 850/1900/2100, GSM/EDGE 850/900/18000/1900 and offers HSPA+ (21mbps) download speeds. Connectivity includes WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing is still to be announced but expect it to be similarly priced to the Lumia 520 that it succeeds.
