The Nokia Lumia 928 has been revealed before and so another leak is hardly surprising. The latest leak shows what appears to be a Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone advert on a billboard at some location in the USA. There is no word on whether this is genuine or “photoshopped” but you wonder why someone might go to the effort of faking it so we will assume it is real. In keeping with our previous article that showed that the Lumia 920 trumped the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and Sony Xperia Z in low lighting – the Lumia 928 claims to have the best low light smartphone camera. This is a claim that we don’t dispute given previous evidence about Lumia performance in low lighting.
Nokia has an upcoming press event planned in the UK on May the 14th so we are almost certain to see much more information when that happens. Camera performance aside, the Lumia 928 looks very similar to the Lumia 920 but is slightly thinner at 10.2mm at its slimmest point and opts for a polycarbonate frame over the aluminium one of its predecessor. The Nokia Lumia 928 also has a curved back and a 4.5 inch OLED screen, compared to the Lumia 920 LCD screen. A 1.5GHz dual core processor, 32GB of storage and 1GB of RAM make up the rest of the specifications.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is expected to be a Verizon exclusive in the USA while the Nokia press event in London on May the 14th would suggest the UK will be getting the Nokia Lumia 928 very soon. What are your thoughts on the Nokia Lumia 928?
