Nokia N9 release date confirmed

Nokia has confirmed the release date for its new smart phone, the Nokia N9, is to be released on September 29th. Nokia’s Swedish website posted a counter for the N9 claiming a release in 48 days. However this is not confirmed for the rest of the world.

The N9 will be Nokia’s first and last phone to use the MeeGo OS and will be the world’s first ‘pure touch’ smartphone. It will have a 3.9” screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (full specs below). The device will be powered by a 1GHz single core processor.
