Nooie Cam 360 Review- Security With a Twist!

How Much Does it Cost?
By far the most impressive thing about this feature-packed camera is the price. It’s currently just £39.00 from the Nooie website, and there’s a 10% off deal on there too, so it’s really pretty excellent value for money. Considering this is a complete package and even comes with the wall/ceiling mount, it’s hard to beat. You can check out the camera and their other products at the Nooie store here.
Overview
There are a lot of cool cameras on the market these days, but honestly, I find many of them to be complicated or even just too expensive. Not only that, for this price range, a lot of the cameras are fixed, and not on a 360-degree turret mount like this one. This is clearly a huge advantage for the Nooie, as it makes it a hell of a lot more practical. You can use one camera to monitor a whole room, whereas you may need to use two fixed cameras to cover the same area.
Of course, using a single camera means you can’t see both sides at once, so this is more for family and casual use vs a real security solution. However, for checking on pets, ensuring the kids aren’t trashing the playroom, or in your garage, it should be absolutely perfect.
It’s well made, but obviously, it’s not designed for external usage. So you’ll need to keep it clean and dry for proper usage. Also, it’s a well-made unit, but because it’s not really a security grade product, it’s not immune to damage so that’s something you need to keep in mind in terms of where you place it and why. In the kitchen and on the ceiling? Absolutely fine. Under your porch to protect from robbery, perhaps not. That being said, the quality it delivers from the built-in camera and microphone, and at this price range, I think it’s still punching above its weight.
It’s a great addition to your smart home setup, and being able to view it on compatible smart devices (those with a screen), or from your mobile devices is awesome. Especially if you’re away from home a lot, or want to ensure your tradesperson really is fixing the pipes in the bathroom. Plus, if you don’t screw it to the ceiling, just pull the USB cable, and move it to a new location in seconds, making it very versatile.
