Noontec Hammo Wireless Pro Monitor Headphones Review

Price
The Noontec Hammo Wireless Professional Monitor Headphones are pretty fantastic value for money. At $149.95, they’re not cheap, but given their performance and features, they’re very competitive. For comparison, they’re much cheaper than similarly designed (very similar I might add) Beats Wireless, with the main exception being these are actually well made and sound superb compared to the EQ-boosted cheap trash of some of their main rivals.
Overview
There’s a huge market for high-end audio gear these days, and I guess there has been for many years. The growing popularity of high-resolution audio files is great too, and a good quality set of balanced headphones such as the Hammo will help you enjoy all that extra detail as it was intended.
Noontec claim these are great for DJ’s, and music creators and I have to agree that they’re well suited to the task. The DJ part may struggle though, as dependant on which kind of DJ’ing you do, now being able to flip the drivers over could be limiting to you. However, if you’re sat at your computer mixing music, they’re perfect. They’re also ideal to hook up to instruments such as a guitar amp, keyboard, etc and don’t alter the sound from your source like some consumer headphones would.
Build Quality
The build quality is top notch, and we wouldn’t expect anything less from Noontec. They’ve created many of the best-made headsets on the market in the past, and they’re not about to throw that reputation away. Their material choices are great, and the headset feels durable and lightweight. It also looks great, and the metal inlays and satin finish oozes premium quality. They do look similar to Beats headphones though, but I honestly couldn’t tell you who came up with the design first. Either way, they look better and sound better than their “rival.”
Added Value
The sound quality is great, and more than enough to justify the price tag in my opinion. However, they look and feel great, which is always a nice bonus. The inclusion of both wired and wireless operation makes them extremely flexible to fit your needs too. I love that Noontec has included premium quality cables, a headphone adaptor and a stylish and durable carry case too. These all add up to a premium experience. Of course, it helps maintain the condition and practicality of your headset, no matter how you use it.
