It’s Official – The Norad Santa Tracker for 2017 Has Gone Live!

The Norad Santa Tracker website has gone live ready for Christmas!
If you have children, it can be quite hard to keep them bottled in the run-up to Christmas. One of the most popular and recent annual traditions has been Norad’s Santa tracker.
For over 60 years North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) have found a more pleasant job than their real one (you know, detecting missiles) in tracking Santa.
While it is not anywhere near as awesome as having Bill Gates as your secret Santa, it does allow your kids to see, particularly on Christmas eve, what Santa is up to and where he currently is.
Well, with Christmas coming it was only a matter of time. Norad has officially launched its Santa Tracker 2017 website.
What is Santa up to?
At this time of year, he is clearly busy overseeing his slave army of toy builders. Assuming he received my letter he will also be taking a trip to Nvidia to pick me up my 1080ti I asked for.
While obviously not much is happening at present, the website does allow you to get some pretty cool information. Such as, for example, what the current temperate is in the North Pole. Currently -25.6c if you were wondering. It even has a countdown clock until the big day. You know, just in the exceptionally unlikely event that your children do not have one already.
You can, however, also explore Santas virtual village which includes games, videos and Christmas music. It really is a great website for kids to visit in the lead-up to Christmas with plenty for them to do.
You can visit the official Norad Santa Tracker website here.
Are you looking forward to Christmas? Are you a regular annual visit to the Santa Tracker? – Let us know-ho-ho in the comments! (I’m sorry).
