Not 1, not 2, but 3 new laptops from Dell

Dell, the computer maker, has released three new laptops, two of which are from the same series.

Let’s start off with the “brothers”: the Inspiron 13z & Inspiron 14z.

Both have a 780p widescreen HD resolution on a 13.3-inch and 14-inch screen respectively.

The difference between them, except for the size, lies in the specs, with the 13z equipped with the second generation Intel i processor, up to 8GB of memory and a choice between 320GB, 500GB of hard drive memory or a 128GB SSD.

The 14z comes with some similarity, but the choice of drive is 500GB, 640GB or 750GB, so no SSD but there is a tray-loading DVD combo for playing and recording DVDs or CDs.

Both these models come with Intel Wireless Display technology, an HDMI port and SRS Premium Sound HD, allowing the user to connect their laptops to a larger display through various methods.

The 14z is currently available on Dell’s website at a starting price of $599 while the 13z has just launched recently and is available in select countries in Asia

The third laptop is the Vostro V131.

Aimed more at business professional, it includes various connectivity features which include WWAN, uninterrupted and LTE (US only), WLAN and Bluetooth 3.0. Being for businesses you also get the fingerprint reader and the Absolute LoJack security software for exceptional security.

Other options such as a full HD camera, STS Premium Voice Pro, digital array microphones and built-in Skype are also included. The laptop also offers two USB3.0 ports, a chiclet keyboard with backlit option as well as quick launch keys.

The V131 is available on Dell.com with a price starting at $449.
