Now You Can Plug An XLR Microphone Into Elgato’s Stream Deck

Elgato already has an amazing range of streaming friendly products, and has just introduced two new hardware extensions for their extremely popular Stream Deck + controller.

The XLR Dock, a mic interface, is designed to help creators manage all their audio needs from a single device, and the USB Hub offers additional ports and power delivery to support a growing setup. Both extensions slot directly into the back of Stream Deck +, tucked away to reduce desk clutter. For creators like streamers and podcasters, it’s an opportunity to further streamline their workspace, with Stream Deck + at its heart.

What Elgato Had to Say

“Oftentimes, creator hardware takes up lots of space, while doing too little,” said Jörg Gohlke, Senior Engineering Manager at Elgato. “With extensions like XLR Dock, Stream Deck + not only improves on these workflows but also has a smaller footprint. Why use multiple devices when you can do so much more with one?”

XLR Dock

Now with XLR Dock, creators can plug their premium mic directly into Stream Deck +. It’s an audio interface that fits neatly behind their controller, to help free up valuable desk space. Inside, a preamp ensures dynamic microphones sound loud and clear with up to 75 dB of ultra-low-noise gain. Condenser mics come to life with 48 V phantom power, while Elgato’s Clipguard technology protects against distortion when creators get loud. Everything is powered by a single USB cable and assembles in seconds, making it easier than ever to get rich studio sound.

Best of all, XLR Dock and Stream Deck + bring all your audio controls together. Not just hardware, but also your apps like Spotify or Discord. So you can mix, monitor, and do just about anything from a single device. It’s the ultimate audio station, offering unmatched flexibility to grow with your needs.

USB Hub

Equipped with USB Hub, Stream Deck + gives creators the ports they need where they need them. Around back, there’s room for up to four devices, from peripherals to external drives. It also powers a laptop (power supply not included), freeing the port they’d normally use for charging. Files transfer fast at speeds up to 5 Gb/s via USB-C, or using a convenient SD card reader on its side. Stream Deck + connects all this to the user’s computer with a single cable.

As an added bonus, USB Hub stows away out of sight, hiding cables and keeping desks tidy. Plus, your ports are always within arm’s reach, just behind Stream Deck +. It all assembles in seconds, no drivers or software needed.

Price and Availability

Stream Deck + owners can order XLR Dock and USB Hub today on Elgato’s webstore, with shipping expected to begin next week. Starting August 25, both products will also be available at authorized retailers in CORSAIR’s global network.
