Nox Extreme are updating their Hummer with the 3.0 version featuring the SuperSpeed USB 3.0.
USB 3.0 is becoming more and more popular, therefore the update sees two USB 3.0 ports added to the front panel with an internal header. Along you will find two USB 2.0 ports, audio ports, two eSATA ports, as well as controls for the built-in 2-channel fan controller.
Talking about the fans, this one is the most complete case I’ve ever seen, as the ones included are one front intake 230mm with white LEDs, one 140mm for rear exhaust, and two 140mm for top exhaust. Yet it doesn’t come with the entirety as there is additional space on the side for another fan ranging from 180 to 230mm, or four 120/140mm as well as one 120/140mm on the bottom. Most of these fans are equipped with dust filters. All in all, this case has some good cooling potential.
Being full-tower, this case measures 610x232x520mm (HxWxD), and supports most ATX format including micro-ATX, ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX and Flex-ATX. Cut-out holes can be found all around for easy cable management, as well as the usual CPU cut-out to give easy access to the CPU cooler’s backplate.
The storage and optical compartment both feature six bays; six internal 3.5”/2.5” and six external 5.25”, all tool less. The PSU is bottom mounted, and ten expansions slots can be found, all of which equipped with a tool-less design.
With the cooling possibilities the Hummer offered, a total of four pre-cut holes can be found in the back for any cooling solution.
Already available in Europe, the Nox Xtreme Hummereme Hummer3.0 is priced at €109.90.
