[NSFW] Brutal First-Person Action Film ‘HARDCORE’ Trailer Released
John Williamson / 9 years ago
HARDCORE is an intense sci-fi action film shot in a first-person perspective which was showcased at the Toronto Film festival. The movie is spearheaded by executive producer, Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and director/writer Ilya Naishuller. The first-person viewpoint is simply mesmerizing and makes the action seem incredibly real. Although, the shaky camera can cause a bit of motion sickness. Currently, there’s no information regarding the film’s cinema release date in the US and throughout Europe. Here is a brief synopsis of the film’s plot:
“You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry and congratulations, you’re now a cyborg. 5 minutes later, your wife has been kidnapped and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky), he’s just a psychotic megalomaniac with telekinetic powers, and a never-ending army of mercenaries. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, Russia and everyone wants you dead. Everyone, except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley). He might be on your side. Good luck Henry. You’re very much likely to need it…”
Once again I must reiterate that the video contains extremely graphic scenes of violence and isn’t suitable for individuals under the age of 18, or people of a nervous disposition. As you might expect, it’s certainly not suitable for a work environment unless you have a really cool boss – you have been warned!
