Nvidia 20XX Mobile Series Graphics Cards Leaked

Nvidia 20XX Mobile Series

It will soon be approaching three months since Nvidia released their 20XX range of graphics cards. While the range is proving to be somewhat popular in the desktop market (a factor not helped by their rather high prices) we have yet to see a laptop or notebook with one of their new graphics cards fitted.

With rumours emerging last week that Nvidia was planning to use CES 2019 to reveal their M-series of 20XX graphics cards, a report via WCCFTech has found more information detailing the full range that will be offered.

Graphics Card Range

In the report, the following graphics cards appeared to be confirmed for an ‘M’ version.

  • GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Mobility
  • GeForce RTX 2080 Mobility
  • Ge Force RTX 2080 Max-Q
  • GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q
  • GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q
  • Ge Force RTX 2060 Mobility

It is, of course, something of a curiosity to see the 2060 on this list. Particularly since a desktop version of the Nvidia 2060 has yet to be formally announced, let alone released! With the popularity of the 1060 (both in desktop and M format) though, it’s hardly surprising to see it on the list here.

What Do We Think?

The information appears to be fairly accurate to what we might expect. For those a little unfamiliar with ‘M-series’ of graphics cards, they are usually not as powerful as the desktop equivalents, but if a laptop could manage to pull off a strong outing for the 20XX series, it will undoubtedly prove to be very popular.

With CES 2019 just around the corner, it will be interesting to see what Nvidia has on offer!
