Nvidia 3050/3050 Ti Laptop GPU Specs & Performance Leak

With the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 and Ti mobile set to represent the new graphics options for entry-level gaming laptop designs, there is clearly more than a little curiosity from consumers looking for an upgrade as to just how good they’re going to be. Well, following a report via Videocardz, not only have the full specifications for both GPUs seemingly leaked, but we also have actual benchmarking charts too!

Nvidia 3050/3050 Ti Mobile Specs and Benchmarks!

So, with clearly quite a lot to digest here, while start by taking at look at the specifications. Although, it should be noted, while these do look entirely legitimate, we do reserve the possibility that this information could be fake!

Nvidia RTX 3050

  • 2,048 CUDA cores
  • Adaptable TDP – 35W-80W
  • Base Clock Speed – 713MHz-1,530MHz (depending on the selected TDP)
  • Boost Clock Speed – 1,057MHz-1,740MHz (see above)
  • 4GB VRAM GDDR6

Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti

  • 2,560 CUDA cores
  • Adaptable TDP – 35W-80W
  • Base Clock Speed – 735MHz-1,463MHz (depending on the selected TDP)
  • Boost Clock Speed – 1,035MHz-1,695MHz (see above)
  • 4GB VRAM GDDR6

Performance

It should be noted that the leaked benchmark performance charts do need to be taken with a grain of salt as it’s exceptionally unlikely that each laptop model (with differing graphics cards) has had the exact same specifications.

So, in brief, indicative? Yes. Definitive? No!

Overall, however, it would appear that consumers looking to make the upgrade to a gaming laptop with a Nvidia 3050 or 3050 Ti will not be disappointed as the comparative performance is very impressive. Top of the range? No, but remember these will represent Nvidia’s entry-level mobile releases!

What Do We Think?

While we don’t have any firm indications as to when laptops featuring these Nvidia graphics cards will be available with consumers, something is expected to happen in the very near future. So if you are currently looking for a new and affordable gaming laptop, it would appear that both the 3050 and 3050 Ti is, at the very least, a very solid choice!
