For more than a little while now, the current status of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has been something of a moderate mystery. I mean, we all know that it will be coming sooner or later, but for the moment, Team Green has remained stubbornly tight-lipped on the subject. Following a fresh rumour, however, it is now being suggested that despite the supposed ‘indefinite delay‘ Nvidia may now be ready to launch the highly-anticipated 3080 Ti GPU within the next month!
Coming in a Twitter post from ‘@momomo_us‘, a reliable source of information in the past, it has been suggested that Nvidia will finally be ready to launch the 3080 Ti at some point in mid-April. While they did not confirm the amount of VRAM it would features (with both 12GB and 20GB still being touted) they have, however, seemingly confirmed a prior rumor that the graphics card will feature the game ‘crypto-killing’ technology seen in the 3060.
There is still absolutely nothing to confirm this news, so in other words, take this with a grain of salt. If Team Green really is planning to drop the 3080 Ti within the next month, however, then it’s clearly going to be interesting to see what specs it packs and, perhaps more notably, where it stands when compared to Nvidia’s other 30XX range.
I mean, we’d suggest something regarding the price and availability too, but we already know that the chances of these GPUs being out there in good quantities is slim!
