Nvidia 4050 and 4060 Graphics Cards Get Registered With the EEC!

With the Nvidia 4090, 4080, and 4070 Ti now all available for purchase, while they all certainly offer exciting levels of performance, I think it goes without saying that right at this moment Team Green doesn’t have any particularly appealing new graphics card models when it comes to consumers looking for a bit of ‘bang for buck’.
Of course, presuming that the 4070 and 4060 Ti are likely next on the agenda, their mid-tier offerings might finally give us some better (well, more affordable) alternatives. At the moment though, there are still clearly more than a few concerns as to exactly how much we can expect these to cost. I mean, just based on the current price structure, if the 4060 Ti costs below $500 (MSRP) I’ll be very surprised!
Following a report via Videocardz, however, for those people perhaps looking at the more entry-level scale of the Nvidia 40XX series, there is some potentially good news as a Chinese AIB partner has officially registered both 4060 and 4050 models with the EEC!
Nvidia 4050/4060 Graphics Cards Registered with the EEC
Now, for those of you unaware, registration with the EEC is one of the first indications we usually see for an upcoming graphics card release. With that being said, however, registrations are often made well in advance of the release of a product, and more so, never specifically guarantee a final retail launch. – With that being said, however, we all know (despite confirmation from Nvidia) that there is going to be a 4050 and 4060 graphics card. It’s simply a case of when.
With one manufacturer finally registering these, however, it does appear that a Q2 release for both the 4050 and 4060 is likely. – Let’s just hope though that these will actually offer some solid levels of performance at a price point that can still allow us to keep both our kidneys!
