Nvidia GeForce 496.49 – Game Ready for Guardians of the Galaxy & Battlefield 2042

There are certainly more than a few big gaming releases imminently set to arrive and, as such, if you are planning on checking these out on your PC, you’re going to want to be well prepared to ensure that your graphics card can give you the best experience and performance possible. With the launch of the latest Nvidia GeForce 496.49 GPU drivers, therefore, we suspect that many of you are very probably going to want to check this out as it brings masses of game-ready support and optimisations!

Nvidia GeForce 496.49

As part of the official driver notes, Nvidia has cited the following support, optimisations, and fixes brought in its latest 496.49 update:

Game Ready:

This new Game Ready Driver provides support for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which utilizes NVIDIA DLSS to boost performance by up to 2x. In addition, this new Game Ready Driver offers support for the latest new titles and updates, including Age of Empires IV, Battlefield 2042 Early Access, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Chivalry 2, Forza Horizon 5, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Riders Republic.

G-Sync Monitor Compatibility:

Our newest Game Ready Driver driver also adds support for 6 new G-SYNC Compatible displays that deliver a baseline Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) experience that makes your gaming smoother and more enjoyable.
