Nvidia Confirms its CES 2022 Keynote!

With CES 2022 now officially less than a month away, we’re expecting to see a lot of huge tech announcements to be made at the (post-COVID returning) physical event. For Nvidia, however, this is particularly interesting as over the last few months there have been growing rumours of the launch of a number of new and revised graphics card products. – With this in mind, therefore, following an official announcement Nvidia has confirmed that their CES 2022 keynote address will be made on January 4th! – The very same day that the event kicks off!

Nvidia at CES 2022

Although Nvidia has confirmed the date and time of their keynote address (January 4th at 8 AM PT – 4 PM GMT), it should be noted that they have given no indication as to exactly what we can expect to be revealed. Given that this is Nvidia though, one answer to that question will undoubtedly be bloat. No offence to our friends over there, but, generally speaking, announcements such as this from Team Green are often 20% interesting and 80% not.

Sticking with the positives, however, some product launches that could potentially be made include:

  • The long rumoured 3090 Ti
  • A revised 3080 and 3070 Ti featuring more VRAM
  • 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti mobile (laptop) graphics cards

Where Can I Learn More?

It’s unclear at the time of writing as to exactly how long Nvidia’s CES 2022 keynote will take. Given that they nearly always cover a wide range of subjects, however, and usually end with their new graphics cards reveals, we’d anticipate it lasting around 2-hours. So, if you do plan to watch it as it happens, grab a coffee, and maybe a good book because there are going to be bits you’ll probably want to zone out of.
