Another day another leak, once again from VideoCardz.com but this time showing a more familiar 3DMark benchmark. A few days ago, benchmarks of the new card on the Ashes of the Singularity database leaked with a GPU score of 6200. The latest results actually paint a much clearer picture now since it includes not just the Firestrike results, but TimeSpy and 3DMark 11 as well. Before we look at the benchmark results, it is interesting to note that we can see the clock speed of the card is set at 1886MHz.
Pulling numbers from our latest Radeon RX Vega 64 review, we can surmise that the GTX 1070 Ti sits right between the Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 at 6340 on Time Spy. However, it is only a hair above the RX Vega 56.
In 3DMark Firestrike, the results are similar with the GTX 1070 Ti sitting in between the RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 at 9449 graphics score. Once again, closer to the RX Vega 56 than RX Vega 64.
The release date for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card is on the calendar for October 26, but stocks coming a week after. Supplies should be better than the RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56, which is why NVIDIA is releasing this in the first place. Their intention is to disrupt AMD’s foothold and prevent giving them ground like Intel did with AMD Ryzen’s release. The MSRP is supposedly around $429 USD, $50 more than the GTX 1070.
