Nvidia GTX 1650 Vs AMD RX 570 Overclocking Showdown

Power Consumption
What shocking to me is how similar these cards perform, but how differently they actually operate. This is the difference between a new chipset and one that’s been re-used for quite a few years now. Overn when overclocked, the GTX 1650 uses less than half the power of the RX570.
Temperatures
The lower power consumption reflects in the heat too. With the Nvidia card being under 60 degrees at full load, while the AMD card being around 80 degrees. That’s a significant difference, and an important one if you’re building a compact gaming PC. The AMD card would choke in small spaces while the Nvidia card most likely would not.
Acoustics
The noise levels on the AMD card are much higher too. It has to work harder to cool the more power hungry chipset and move that heat. As a result, the Nvidia card is up to 6 dBa quieter, and that’s a big difference. Plus, at low loads, the Nvidia card is completely silent, able to run passively. I would add though, there are RX570 cards on the market with zero RPM features too.
