Nvidia have just successfully launched the GTX 680 but unsurprisingly there are still quite a few more cards to come. The GTX 670 and GTX 670Ti will be arriving in late April or early May. The GTX 670Ti is expected to be the GTX 580 replacement and will have 2GB of memory, this card will be in direct competition with the HD 7950 in terms of performance but will cost around £320 not the £350 that the HD 7950 currently retails for. The GTX 670 will be a direct replacement for the GTX 570 and will have 2GB of memory, its price tag will be £240 which slots somewhere in between the HD 7850 and HD 7870.
As far as the mid range goes, the GTX 560Ti, GTX 560 and GTX 550Ti replacements are not going to be around for a while after these two launch. Anything below that in performance, GT 545 and lower, are expected to arrive as rebrands for the 600 series. There is also information that suggests Nvidia have another fast card in the waiting to launch should AMD decide to release the next generation of 28nm GPUs later on this year. However, this development isn’t expected till October-December.
