Are you looking forward to getting your hands on the latest budget-friendly Nvidia graphics cards? It looks like you’ll have a few to choose from! It seems that Nvidia is preparing to launch two variants of the GTX 1050 mid-range graphics card next month, with the faster GTX 1050 Ti launching in mid-October, only to be followed by the more affordable GTX 1050 towards the end of October.
Both of the new cards will be based around the GP107 hardware, with the GTX 1050 Ti packing 768 CUDA cores, 48 TMUs, and 32ROPS. It’ll offer up clock speeds of 1290 MHz core and 1382 MHz GPU Boost with 4GB of GDDR5 at 7 GHz over a 128-bit bus. The GTX 1050 will be a little more reserved, with just 640 CUDA, 40 TMUs, 1354 MHz core, 1455 Boost and 2GB of GDDR5.
It’s expected the price of each card could be around $120 for the non-TI and around $150 for the Ti, which is excellent value for money. Of course, we’ll have to wait out until next month to find out, and even then, we could see some interesting deals from Nvidia’s partner brands.
