Nvidia is planning price cuts on the recently released GeForce GTX 660Ti graphics cards. These price cuts are expected to arrive shortly after September the 13th.
The GeForce GTX 660 Ti which currently costs $299 would be brought down to the $279 mark and $315 for overclocked models respectively. By early 2013, we would see another price drop which would result in a new price of $239 on reference and $279 on factory overclocked models.
It is not yet known whether Nvidia will match these price cuts on the GeForce GTX 660Ti with price cuts on other models like the GeForce GTX 670 and GTX 680. Either way this is great news for the consumers because cheaper GTX 660Ti graphics cards means you will get a better deal and AMD will be forced to keep their mid range prices falling on the HD 7870 and HD 7950 cards.
