Nvidia Rumoured to Be Readying 4070 and 4060 Ti Production Next Month!

Following the release of the Nvidia 4070 Ti earlier this month, we do, of course, now turn our eyes towards pretty much all the remaining models left from the 40XX SKU. And it should be noted that unlike all the prior releases we’ve seen so far from the series, we can likely expect these upcoming models to start coming a little (metaphorically) thicker and faster.
When can we expect them though? Well, following a report via Videocardz, information has leaked online suggesting that Nvidia is planning to kick off full-blown production of both the 4070 and 4060 Ti as early as next month! – Yep, Nvidia’s mid-tier is officially on the way!
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 and 4060 Ti Graphics Cards
According to the leak, official SKU information has been issued to board partners from Nvidia which 99.9% confirms that production of the 4070 and 4060 Ti is set to start within the next couple of months – While not revealing much, outside the fact that both GPUs will be utilising a the AD104 chipset, you can see the details for yourself below:
- PG141-SKU343 – AD104-250 GPU – 200W TDP – Production February 2H
- PG141-SKU345 – AD104-251 GPU – 200W TDP – Production March 2H
In terms of release/launch dates, we should note that Nvidia is still exceptionally keen to continue, as best as possible, to sell their apparent masses of 30XX stock. As such, we anticipate that although production of the 4070 and 4060 Ti might be set to begin shortly, their actual release may be held off until something around May and possibly even June.
The only really scary question is that if a 4070 Ti can cost $799, how much will a 4060 Ti be?…
