NVIDIA has released the GeForce 561.09 WHQL Game Ready driver, which brings enhancements for popular titles like FINAL FANTASY XVI and God of War Ragnarök. These updates include support for DLSS 3 technology, aimed at boosting the gaming experience by improving performance and visual fidelity. The driver also provides launch support for EA SPORTS FC 25 and Frostpunk 2.
In addition to game-specific optimizations, the driver introduces new GeForce Optimal Settings for Black Myth: Wukong, F1 Manager 2024, and Star Wars Outlaws. Though the driver does not address any existing game-related bugs, several general fixes are included to improve overall system performance.
This release resolves a bug where the Performance Monitoring overlay in GeForce Experience would sometimes fail to display GPU information correctly. It also fixes an issue where game filters in the NVIDIA Overlay would intermittently disappear during gameplay.
These updates enhance the experience for users who have encountered these problems. For those who are not playing the featured games or haven’t experienced these issues, the update may not be essential. However, players of the supported titles are encouraged to download the driver for an optimized experience.
The update also improves performance in non-gaming applications, such as resolving issues with Chaos V-Ray, which experienced performance regressions in some workloads with previous driver versions.
