Nvidia Releases New GeForce 375.86 Driver

In its ongoing efforts to improve the gaming experience of its customers, Nvidia has just released the brand new GeForce 375.86 driver, which brings on a series of optimizations for specific games, as well as a series of fixes. The games that we’re talking about are Battlefield 1, Civilization VI, Tom Clancy’s The Division Survival DLC and Steep Open Beta, and even though Battlefield 1 and Civilization VI already benefit from their own Game Ready drivers, the new update will likely provide even further optimizations, which are always welcome. Furthermore, 375.86 includes an SLI profile for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as well as a fix for the notorious flickering issue with G-SYNC monitors.

The smearing and ghosting problems detected in the previous driver version were also taken care of, as were a series of minor issues such as missing GeForce Experience icons in Windows 8.1, 8 and 7. You can download the new driver from Nvidia’s own website or through the GeForce Experience software, and you can read a full list of fixes and open issues below. Hopefully, most of the known problems will be addressed soon.
