In its most recent release of the GeForce beta drive, currently at 285.79, Nvidia has brought to the desktop graphics card improvements and fixes along some new SLI and 3D Vision profiles for new games.
As usual, the supported cards go from the GeForce 6- to the 500-series, including ION GPUs and is available for Windows 7 and Vista OS.
This new driver resolves quite a lot of the bugs as well as providing performance improvements for EA’s Battlefield 3, including the “stuttering” seen on DirectX 10 GPUs, performance improvements for both DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 GPUs, shadow map corruption fix for DirectX10 GPUs, fix for cases of black corruption lines/triangles with DirectX 10 GPUs, and fix for black screen during playback using Windows Media Center.
The new SLI and 3D Vision profiles include titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Need for Speed: Run, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City, Hard Reset and much more.
You can get the latest beta driver directly from Nvidia’s official website.
