NVIDIA Rolls Out GeForce 388.43 Drivers for DOOM VFR

NVIDIA is rolling out a new GeForce GameReady driver version 388.43, specifically for full compatibility with DOOM VFR. As the name suggests, NVIDIA’s GameReady drivers provide the best, most optimal experience for the latest games. In this case, this ensures that your demon fragging adventures in DOOM VFR goes as smoothly as possible. After all, the last thing you need when facing off hordes of monsters is a graphical glitch.

NVIDIA Rolls Out GeForce 388.43 Drivers for DOOM VFR

DOOM VFR was first revealed at E3 2017 and it is not exactly a direct adaptation of the DOOM revival game. In Doom VFR, you play a scientist who was killed during the original invasion of mars. Your objective is to put the station back in order. Your “revived” consciousness allows you to take control of any robot on the station. This opens up the game play to a variety of options not available to the original. Since there are several different robot models with various sizes and shapes in the station. There are still plenty of demon fragging of course, but the gameplay is more VR friendly rather than the frenetic mouse+keyboard pace of the original.

It also lists all the known issues that NVIDIA is working on fixing. To download, simply head on over to GeForce.com and select which configuration applies to your system. If you have GeForce Experience installed, you can easily streamline this process by click on the update button on that program as well.
