When it comes to the laptop market, while they’ll always be consumers interested in having some of the best tech currently available on the market, I think it would be fair to say that the vast majority of them are just looking to get the best they can afford. For reasons such as this, the Nvidia 1050 Ti and 1060 remain some of the most popular and/or widely used desktop graphics cards. With the upcoming launch of the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobile graphics card, therefore, they’ll undoubtedly be many people looking towards this as being their best option as an affordable ‘gaming’ laptop choice.
However, if you were curious as to just how potent it may be, following a report via Videocardz, we have categorical confirmation of the full specifications of this mobile GPU!
Following the validated GPU-Z submission below, we can clearly see that the RTX 3050 Ti will come with a GPU boost clock speed of 1485 MHz while also packing 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM coming in at 1500 MHz. While this isn’t overly indicative in it itself, it does more than suggest that while this will (generally speaking) represent one of the more entry-level models, it will still pack a fairly decent (if not good) punch.
Although there is nothing categorically confirmed from Nvidia yet, most are expecting to see 3050 Ti-powered laptops arrive at some point this summer. As such, if you are currently in the market for a new system, it might well be worth just holding off buying just yet until we see just how truly potent this mobile GPU really is because, based on the above, it’s not looking too shabby at all!
