Graphics Cards

Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition Review

It’s fair to say Nvidia has been dominating when it comes to the extreme end of gaming graphics cards. I can attest to that myself, having purchased an RTX 4090, the performance is truly incredible, and while the price means I likely won’t be replacing that card for many years to come, for extreme gaming, it’s a blast. That being said, I love less powerful cards, strange as that may sound. The lower power, lower noise levels, lower temperatures, and of course, the lower cost, are a huge draw. I like building compact gaming PCs though, so having a card that is more attainable for a small form factor system certainly gets my attention. The new RTX 4060 class cards are the most affordable 4000-series cards to date, and if you’re gaming at 1080 or 1440 resolutions, they’re going to appeal to those who’ve been eager to update their ageing GPUS, most likely those who haven’t upgraded since the pre-COVID days.

Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition

The RTX 4060 Ti launches today in an 8GB format, and then there will be a 16GB version in July 2023, as well as the RTX 4060 non-Ti version also in July 2023. I’ve been eager to see what these less powerful and more affordable cards can really do though, given they have the Fourth Gen Tensor Cores and Third Gen RT cores, offering Ray Tracing and DLSS 3 performance that’s a huge leap ahead of what we saw in the first, second and even the third generation of RTX cards.
