The Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition celebrates all the positive feedback, reviews and awards garnered, but it is also a “Thank You” to our fans – new and old – that have made Microsoft Flight Simulator such a phenomenon. Best of all, the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition will be available as a free update for existing players on PC.

Flight Sim is probably the most severely CPU bottlenecked titles we test, and that’s clear to see at 1440p with results showing no cohesion whatsoever, and all within very slim margins of each other.
4K sees that bottleneck eliminated to a degree, but with such poor performance across the board, the only hope for any card really is an X3D based CPU or DLSS3 which we’ll be looking at shortly so there could be a saving grace for the 4070 here.

except that they have 6800 XT, that offer same performance as 4070, but cost almost 100$ less and oh have more VRAM
but it consumes almost double the power
