Horizon Zero Dawn sees some pretty awful results at 1440p, with the 4070 Ti sitting below the performance from everything else we tested apart from the 3070 Ti. It still manages a 28% lead over its predecessor, but just falls short against everything else, and by quite some margin in some cases.
4K redeems the 4070 Ti slightly, with it now sitting below the 7900 XT, but cards from the 3080 series still sit just above it, and can be had for around the same price right now. Based on this test alone, the 4070 Ti is just too expensive for what’s on offer.
