Far Cry 6

Moving onto Far Cry 6 on Ultra settings and generally speaking at lower resolutions, we’d notice quite a bit of CPU bottleneck, though even with that, at 1440p we continue to see some decent gains of around 23% over the 3080 Ti with the most noticeable point coming by way of the 1% lows which saw a HUGE 55% uplift in performance, so there’s definitely still some form of bottleneck going on here.
At 4K, we see the gain increase slightly to 25% over the 3080 Ti, while the 6950 XT again fights back, but as we know, Far Cry 6 does generally favour AMD GPUs over the competition, though even that isn’t enough as the RTX 4080 commands an 8% lead over the AMD based 6950 XT.
