Horizon Zero Dawn is another game that generally favours AMD and at 1440p, while the 6950 XT did give strong competition over the 3080 Ti and 3090, it still wasn’t enough to get close to the new RTX 4080 which comes in 22% faster. Compared to the previous generation, the real focus worth talking about here is the 3090 Ti which gave us 216 FPS, though the 4080 coming in with an average FPS of 247 still manages to see a 14% uplift in performance.
At 4K, the gains improve even more seeing the 4080 around 34% faster than the 6950 XT which dropped down the rankings along with the 4080 coming in 5% faster than the 3090 Ti which was already ahead of the 3080 Ti by quite some margin.
