Nvidia RTX 4080 Graphics Card Review

Clock Speeds

So let’s talk about clock speeds because that’s another area where each card will differ. Now all cards obviously come with the same 2205MHz GPU clock, but have also come in with the same 1400MHz memory clock speed, so the only difference comes down to the boost clock.

Now, putting this in order, the FE from NVIDIA comes with a boost clock of 2505MHz.

The Gaming OC from Gigabyte improves on that slightly, coming in at 2535MHz.

The Inno3D iChill X3 manages to push out a little more at 2565MHz.

The MSI SuprimX storms ahead and features a boost clock of 2625MHz.

Then lastly, the Palit GameRock OC sports the highest boost clock here at 2640MHz.

What that means for overclocking, we’ll delve into a little later on.
