According to the new reports about Nvidia GeForce “Titan” GK110 is said to be shipped to review sites such as PC Perspective and TechReport, as per what Rage3D’s news editor “Cavemen-Jim” revealed.
The card is set to arrive later this month and would be using the GK110 architecture with 2688 CUDA cores and a whopping 6GB of GDDR5 memory, 384-bit interface and most likely may be under $899. Its also rumoured it even outperforms the GeForce GTX 690.
Since it’s confirmed that Titan is a separate model that has nothing to do with the 700 series where it’s rumoured to be delayed along with AMD GPUs, it will be interesting to see how this card performs. A word to note however that the card will have a TDP of 235W.
But what’s interesting is that as WCCFTech pointed out, Japanese sources confirmed that a Japan-based online retail site will be getting Titan cards in limited quantities to put up for sale at the end of the year.
