NVIDIA Sells RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Cards from a Truck
At the GTC 2025 event, NVIDIA made an unexpected move by setting up a mobile store inside a truck to sell its high-end GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards. This unusual street vendor style sale stands out as these graphics cards, priced up to $2,000, are usually only available at a much higher price.
Prices and Limited Availability
The NVIDIA Gear Store Mobile Truck is selling the RTX 5080 for $999, while the more powerful RTX 5090 is priced at $1,999. These were the original launch prices, but it is now nearly impossible to find them at such prices due to increased demand.
Only GTC attendees with passes can purchase these cards, and the sale is limited to one card per person. A total of 1,000 RTX 5080 and 1,000 RTX 5090 cards are available, but only 90 units per time slot will be sold.
A Unique Way to Buy Graphics Cards
It’s surprising to see RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 cards being sold in this unique way, as a mobile store, but this event shows how NVIDIA is thinking outside the box. If you’re at GTC 2025, it could be your chance to grab these cards at the recommended price!
