It may not be the first time, but the recent IDF has seen some new products yet to be released, as well a a tablet featuring nVidia’s upcoming Kal-El chips.
Not much was revealed, only that we can deduct that this Kal-El based tablet will most probably run Windows 8, but one of the more interesting feature is the battery time that the notebooks and tablets equipped nVidia’s new chip will gain which will go from a dozen of hours at most to days.
It’s not the first hardware to feature days in it’s specs, but I believe that if it’s days of battery time when in use, it might be the first for prolonged battery use, unless it’s standby battery time, in which case I believe Macbooks are on the winning side.
